Does the person giving Reiki give up her own energy? Does doing Reiki tire her out?
The Reiki energy is separate from the giver's energy. In truth, the giver is not doing any healing, she only channels the Universal Life Force Energy that is Reiki. This is why the giver's energies are never depleted. The Reiki session is actually a double session, because the energy treats both giver and client. For this reason, giving a treatment increases the giver's energy and fills her with a loving sense of well-being.
